We wanted to let you know that there are some exciting new changes on LinkedIn! Within the last 24 hours, LinkedIn has announced several new updates and we wanted to let you know about some of the new features so you can think about how you might want to leverage this important tool!
In addition to the search capability expanding beyond people and jobs (the search results will now yield results to help you find relevant content, groups, and events), LinkedIn now has Stories! Stories are widely used on Instagram and Facebook, and now LinkedIn will have this feature to allow your companies to “show its human side”. While every company will choose whether and how to use the Stories feature on LinkedIn, we want to advise that this offers an opportunity to share professional moments in a more human way.
Consider getting more involved as LinkedIn is a great way to showcase company culture and connect with talent. Manufacturers can use Stories to show lean manufacturing, safety and quality programs in action, and social & charitable work happening on the ground. Stories offer another creative avenue to share your company’s story and help your audience get to know you!
